From the depths of history and the terrible days of the Great Wars we read stories of courage and danger but ultimately of faith, hope and love. A grandfather sits in front of a warm fire as the flames rekindle memories of times long gone - the next generation needs to know the truth. A table cloth and a large mischievous dog bring two women together from different sides of a bitter struggle. The dominion of Canada and battle scarred Dresden are reconciled through the love of Christ.

A free grace classic. In this series of letters to a friend, John Jenkins, William Huntington enters with sanctified thinking upon the sublimest of subjects - the triune God. It contains a powerful antidote to heresies reflecting badly upon the nature of God, and the Trinity in particular. This edition has been taken from C J Farncombe's of 1940, and has an introduction by Herbert Moore, the then pastor at Jireh Chapel, Lewes, a legacy of Huntington's ministry.

There is a striking contrast between two seceders from the Church of England in the first half of the 19th Century namely J C Philpot and J H Newman. This address by Matthew Hyde concentrates on the apostasy of J H Newman, and his descent into the Church of Rome. It is a timely account of a sad history, for with the proposed visit of Pope Benedict XVI to the UK later this year there is much talk of him beatifying Newman. However here Dr Hyde shows that there was little blessed or beautiful in the life of Newman, but whilst he was in the Church of England only much deception. He was a poor deluded soul. In his description of the papacy in II Thessalonians 2 Paul declares in verse 11 "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie."
